Previously, we have wrote about Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool and Avira AntiVir Removal Tool. I’ve now found another free virus removal tool by Avast.
avast! Virus Cleaner is a small and handy tool to remove virus and worms. It can find and remove selected worms from your computer, as well as fix the registry and startup items to make sure your system will work correctly after the disinfection.
It can remove many W32 related worms and there temporary files are removed as well.
It is highly recommended not to start any applications during the scan process. Also make sure, not to use it as an antivirus solution for everyday use.
