The Google+ official extension might be delighting for G+ addicts and pointless at the same time for the rest of masses. For those who aren’t aware, Google has earlier made available a couple of handy Google+ extensions for Chrome – Google+ Notifications and Google +1 Button. We really expect Google to offer something more engaging that could intensify the experience of Google+ users.

AdSense Publisher Toolbar is a great and handy Chrome extension, allowing users to view their adsense account earnings in an overlay without visiting Adsense site and from any webpage in Chrome. Apparently, it is weird to see that Google named this cool extension as a toolbar which it’s certainly Not. It’s a boon for those interested in checking their site earnings several times a day. Account earnings summary are displayed for today, yesterday, this month, last month. It also shows Top 5 custom channels and even the ‘Lifetime revenue’ generated from the linked Adsense account.

Besides just showing your income, the extension has another amazing feature ‘In-site ad overlay’ that shows instant summary of each ad unit’s earnings (today, yesterday, last 7 days) running on your site and also the ad unit size. To enable ad overlays, simply visit your site and tick mark the ‘Show ad overlays’ option from within the extension. Instantly, you will be able to see earnings summary for every individual ad unit directly on your site. This is something really impressive that could help users in determining how their ad units are performing.

Fortunately, a Google+ user ‘Maximilian Majewski’ has discovered a 100% working hack to enable the new Google bar right now. The hack can easily be applied on Google Chrome browser to edit a certain value and thus access the awesome new Google menu bar. Switching to the New Google bar is real easy, just follow the steps below:

1. Install the ‘Edit This Cookie’ extension to change cookies on Chrome.

2. Load Google.com, right-click on webpage and select ‘Edit cookies’.

3. Move to the "PREF" section and change its value to this: (exact code)

4. Click on ‘Submit cookie changes’ at the bottom.

5. Reload Google and you have the new Google bar.

You will now find links to the most accessed services in a new drop-down Google menu nested under the Google logo. You can access additional services by hovering over the “More” link at the bottom of the list. Just click on your choice and you’re over to it!

Google has also released a new Google+ extension “Google+ Notifications” for Chrome that is just a clone of the popular G+ extension Surplus, but is an official one. When signed in, it lets you view notifications of Google+ activity from anywhere on the web on Chrome. The extension icons turns red whenever there is a new unread notification which can be simply viewed by clicking on its button.

You can reply to a comment, +1 a post or comment from within the Google+ Notifications drop-down menu but you cant share a post using it unlike Surplus. Now you can quickly check notifications while browsing the web and without opening Google+.

Google +1 Button: +1 any page on the web, then share it with your circles.

Alongside, they have improved the official Google +1 Button chrome extension by adding the Share feature to it. Now you can +1 any webpage or share it on Google+ in Chrome directly from any webpage. It also shows the +1 counts for a particular webpage and one can also Undo +1 using the same button.

Google Apps users will have access to the same set of features that are available to every Google+ user, and more. In addition to sharing publicly or with your circles, you’ll also have the option to share with everyone in your organization, even if you haven’t added all of those people to a circle.

Starting today, you can manually enable Google Plus service for your organization hosted on Google Apps. You can enable Google+ for all or just specific users at any time, if it is not enabled automatically. To Turn on Google+ for your Google Apps account -

1. Log in to your Google Apps administrator control panel.

The URL is https://www.google.com/a/cpanel/primary-domain-name, where primary-domain-name is the domain name you used to sign up for Google Apps.

2. Click Organization & users.

3. From the left pane, choose the organization (select any specific user if you want) for which you want to enable Google+. Then click Services.

4. Make sure that the following services Google Talk and Picasa Web Albums, are turned on for the selected organizational unit.

5. Under Additional Services, scroll down until you see the Google+ service. Turn on Google+ by tapping the ON option button.

6. A pop-up box will open up as shown, just select the ‘Turn Google+ on’ option.

7. Then click ‘Save changes’ option shown at the bottom left side.

Now visit plus.google.com and sign up using your Google Apps account logins. You need to join the service before you can use it.

Share on Google Plus is a useful Chrome extension which seems using the code from Simple Google+ Bookmarklet, made by AJ Batac. The only difference in this extension is that it doesn’t displays the Share web page and just lets you easily and quickly share a webpage to Google+ stream, directly from Chrome’s main bar. Hence, you can now share anything without the need to manually post it on Google+.
