Xiaomi just announced the launch of Mi 3 in India, scheduled to go on sale on July 15th at an extremely aggressive price of Rs. 13,999. The Xiaomi Mi 3 is a highly affordable smartphone considering its high-end specifications and pricing in India as compared to others phones. Mi 3 is a tough competitor to mid-range smartphones, specially Moto G and the high-end ones like Moto X, Gionee Elife E6, Gionee Elife E7, and Nexus 5; all of which feature similar specs. Mi 3 is powered by 2.3Ghz Quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor; features a 5” 1080p display at 441ppi, 13MP camera with dual-LED flash, 2GB RAM, NFC, and a 3050 mAh battery.

The only concern with Mi 3 would be future Android updates which you can’t expect to be like that on a Nexus or a Moto device, and the customer support in India. Hope, the company can work on these concerns. Overall, Mi3 is certainly a true value for money smartphone!
