You may want to know when your Windows was installed for a couple of reasons.

Finding the Windows installation date is damn simple.

Open up command prompt (Start -> Run -> cmd), and enter systeminfo.

Scroll up and you would find the field Original Install Date, which lists the date and time when Windows was installed.
