Here is the simplest way of having a group chat with your friends etc. on Gtalk. This idea was given by Pratyush who runs an awesome scrapbook.
You can have a group chat on gtalk using Google Talk Labs Edition.
Google Talk Labs has great features which includes instant messaging, emoticons, and group chat. Google Talk, Labs Edition also comes with new desktop notifications from Calendar, Orkut, and Gmail.
Currently, Google Talk, Labs Edition is only available for Windows PCs.
