How to Install Stock Android 4.2.2 ROM on HTC One
As you may know, the Google Play editions of Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One are now available on Google Play featuring the latest version of Android. The Stock Android 4.2.2 Google Play Edition firmware for HTC One (M7) is now available, which users can simply flash on their standard HTC One smartphone to enjoy the pure Android experience, earlier limited only to Google Nexus devices. The ROM is reportedly made from system dump of Google Play Edition HTC One. Those who love tinkering with their Android device would love to know that it comes Rooted with Koush’s superuser app and binary, has latest busybox installed, and is Odexed. Moreover, it supports several variants of the GSM HTC One, i.e. HTC One Unlocked, HTC One T-Mobile and HTC One AT&T.

-If assert fails on m7att, you may need to flash TWRP to flash the ROM

Download Google Play Edition ROM for HTC One [Rooted/Busybox/Odexed]
– Copy ‘bigxie_m7_GPe_odexed_tbalden.zip’ to your phone storage.
– Enter into Recovery mode (Turn off the phone, then hold down the ‘Power and Volume Down’ buttons until you see the HBoot menu screen. Then press the ‘Volume Down’ button to select Recovery, and then press the Power key to boot into Recovery).
– Perform a Factory Reset
– Choose Install Zip from sdcard, select the downloaded .zip file.
– Reboot your device!
