Today, Google has finally introduced Friend Connect which means more people engaging more deeply with your website — and with each other.
In order to use Friend connect you have to Setup a New site on Google Friend connect. Below are the steps to add Friend Connect to your WordPress Blog.
1. Open Friend Connect and Click on the “Set Up A New Site” button.
2. Give your site name and URL.
3. Now upload the following files to your web server (/public_html) : one for gadget functionality (canvas.html) and the other for security features (rpc_relay.html).
4. Get the code for the “Members Gadget” and add it to your blog’s sidebar widget.
People can now join your site as members. They can see other members on your site and meet them. You can also add other Friend Connect Gadgets to your site easily.
If your blog is hosted on Blogger.com,then there’s no need to upload two files on the web server.

You can also use your Google, Yahoo!, AOL, or other OpenID account to join our community.
