Finally the wait is over, as the long awaited Ubuntu 8.10 "Intrepid Ibex" release of the free, open-source Linux distribution has been released officially and is available for download.
The latest Ubuntu release brings the best of open source together on a platform that with 18 months free updates.

Ubuntu 8.10 is a free download, it can run as a live CD or install on most Intel-based systems.
