Cooool so when are they releasing video recording for the iPhone 3G and of course the hardware upgrade to allow auto-focusing…. 😀
i don’t understand why the wallpaper feature was not included for the 3G. that was the only one i really wanted. 🙁
Just Jailbreak, you get Wallpaper and Multi-tasking(really worth it). 😉
And they wonder why people jailbreak their phones. Simple things like allowing wallpaper for the homescreen as well as the unlock screen…why NOT allow it for the 3G as well. Just stupid!!
There are reasons behind it. When a customer asked as why iPhone 3G didn’t get home screen background, Steve Jobs replied “The icon animation with backgrounds didn’t perform well enough”.
Multitasking is not there for iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G because they have low amount of RAM and will result in reduced performance.
Still, i should have the choice to have an slower iphone if i want to. It’s not thier problem, it’s mine.
but then everyone would complain about how slow the iphone is, there is no way to make everybody happy. some people are glad that they didn’t get a homescreen that would have slowed it down
I have read that the iphone 3G has the capabilities for video recording – it is just blocked. I was hoping this new update would change all that. Are there plans by apple to allow 3G to do video recording?
There is a free app that does video recording in the app store. It works ok.
I have one called ivideocamera. Short record time
Cycorder is best for Iphone 3g .. With background recording support
But takes huge memory for video.. No matter afterwords u convrt it To whichever format u want..
Waiting for my update now, it’s still backing up, i should look after this thing more often, what is everyones fave feature? I heard something about the wallpaper not working on 8gig 3rd gen iPod touch, i hope this is not the case, i would love to have that capability and i love my iPod so much, i don’t think i’d like another even if it were to be the 4th gen
