Blog Stats – We are very close to 2400 posts, RSS Subscribers counts 8450, Alexa Rank is 22,589 and PageRank 4. There isn’t much progress in the traffic and revenue in last couple of months. Certainly, Panda aka Farmer update is the ultimate culprit.

A while back in July, we also launched a web app “WhatIsMySEORank”, a free and useful service for webmasters and bloggers. WIMSR offers a fast and efficient way to Find your website position in Google search results (Google.com). Do try it out!

There is a hidden truth behind the starting of this blog. Initially, it was started on blogger as mayurjango.blogspot.com on May 6, 08 and later on shifted to Webtrickz.com (WordPress) on Sep 12, 2008.

Requirements in order to qualify for an upgrade:

1. Lenovo PCs purchased between June 26, 2009 and January 31, 2010 are eligible for upgrades to Windows 7.

2. You must have any of the below Eligible Products.

3. Eligible Languages for Windows 7 Upgrade

RTM officially happens only after sign-off occurs. Today after all the validation checks were met, we signed off and declared build 7600 as RTM.

Windows 7 Availability

IT Professionals with TechNet Subscriptions and Developers with MSDN Subscriptions will be able to download Windows 7 RTM in English on August 6th and remaining languages by October 1st.

The RTM code will be delivered to our partners within the next few days who will then start preparing to deliver some amazing new products timed to hit at General Availability (GA) of Windows 7 on October 22nd.

Windows 7 will be in retail stores and shipping on new PCs starting October 22nd.

Along with 7, Windows Server 2008 R2 has also RTM’d.

What’s the Truth ?

Brandon LeBlanc from Windows Official blog has now confirmed that, MS has not yet signed off on Windows 7. We expect Windows 7 to RTM in the 2nd half of July.

Latest Highlights of Windows 7 RTM

• Upgrades from the Windows 7 RC to RTM will not be supported. You will be required to do a Custom installation (aka “clean install”).
• MSDN and TechNet subscribers, as well as Volume License customers will have access to product keys (PIDs) when Windows 7 is made available to them.
• DON’T download bogus/leaked copies of Windows 7 floating around the Internet, as they may contain a rather nice malware payload.
• All copies of Windows 7 in developed markets will ship with both 32-bit and 64-bit DVDs.

Windows first and foremost focus is a super high quality release of Windows 7 for hitting RTM.

So, wait for the official announcement by Microsoft or stay updated to our blog posts.
