Google Chrome, the best and most popular web browser has turned more awesome with the introduction of a new smart feature that syncs all your tabs across devices and thus provides the ability to quickly access the tabs that you opened on your other device. Let’s say, you’ve a Chrome session running on your computer, and perhaps you want to access it from your notebook on the go. Chrome beta now makes it possible! This is indeed a great and useful feature, earlier available in Dev releases.

To Enable Syncing of All Tabs Across Other devices, firstly install the latest Chrome beta on all of your devices. Then open Settings, click on ‘Advanced sync settings’ and make sure the ‘Open Tabs’ option is checked (enabled by default if Sync everything is selected). You need to do this on all your devices that you want to sync and ensure that you’re signed into the same Google account as on your other devices. Now when you’re on the New tab page, there will be a new option ‘Other Devices’ in the bottom right corner of Chrome. Just click on it to access tabs opened on your other devices like Chromebook, Macbook, PC, Android phone, etc.

The tab’s back and forward navigation history is also included, so you can pick up browsing right where you left off. If you use Chrome for Android Beta, the tab will also be available on your phone, right there in your pocket when you hit the road.

If you’re a die hard Chrome user then here is something interesting that you might not want to miss. Google has introduced an official Chrome extension ‘My Chrome Theme’, allowing users to simply create custom themes and decorate the browser using their favorite images and colors. Earlier, one was limited to readymade themes designed by Google and various Artists. But not anymore, it’s your time now to be creative!

My Chrome Theme lets you easily design a desired Google Chrome theme in just a few clicks to add a personal touch to your browser. To get started, simply install the extension and launch the app from new tab page. Then choose a custom image from your computer or using webcam that will serve as the Chrome’s background. Adjust the image position using the couple of options listed and proceed to Step 2.

There you can choose a custom color for toolbar, background tab and frame. Or simply tap ‘I’m feeling lucky’ to automatically add a color scheme.

Next give the theme a name (optional description) and your personalized theme for Chrome is ready to use. You can install the theme and share it with anyone on Google+ or using the unique URL provided.

One downside is that the app currently lacks some advanced editing features and offers very limited amount of colors. We hope that should be integrated in future updates.

In the past, we shared a simple tip to get the Google Plus web app on Chrome browser to instantly catch your Google+ stream. Finally, Google has released Google+ web app for Google Chrome that unfortunately fails to impress the users. That’s because the app is apparently nothing but a basic site bookmark linking to plus.google.com. It simply adds G+ shortcut icon to Chrome’s new tab page but lacks any other functionality.

The Google+ official extension might be delighting for G+ addicts and pointless at the same time for the rest of masses. For those who aren’t aware, Google has earlier made available a couple of handy Google+ extensions for Chrome – Google+ Notifications and Google +1 Button. We really expect Google to offer something more engaging that could intensify the experience of Google+ users.

Google has quietly launched a new extension for Google Chrome that makes it real easy and fast for Google Adsense publishers to check their earnings or revenue reports. This official extension ‘AdSense Publisher Toolbar’ introduced specifically for Chrome browser offers AdSense publishers two efficient ways to access real-time information about their accounts and the ads served on their websites.

AdSense Publisher Toolbar is a great and handy Chrome extension, allowing users to view their adsense account earnings in an overlay without visiting Adsense site and from any webpage in Chrome. Apparently, it is weird to see that Google named this cool extension as a toolbar which it’s certainly Not. It’s a boon for those interested in checking their site earnings several times a day. Account earnings summary are displayed for today, yesterday, this month, last month. It also shows Top 5 custom channels and even the ‘Lifetime revenue’ generated from the linked Adsense account.

Besides just showing your income, the extension has another amazing feature ‘In-site ad overlay’ that shows instant summary of each ad unit’s earnings (today, yesterday, last 7 days) running on your site and also the ad unit size. To enable ad overlays, simply visit your site and tick mark the ‘Show ad overlays’ option from within the extension. Instantly, you will be able to see earnings summary for every individual ad unit directly on your site. This is something really impressive that could help users in determining how their ad units are performing.

If you’re an Internet freak who spends most time surfing the web on Google Chrome browser, then here is a very useful and must have extension for you. We usually access various websites and blogs that contains lengthy web pages and one has to scroll down to read the content. Certainly, you’ve to manually scroll up if you want to move to the top of a web page that doesn’t has a ‘Back to Top’ button like our site has.

Scroll To Top Button is a handy Chrome extension that allows you to quickly scroll to the top of any webpage! You can use this button to simply get back to top once you’ve finished reading content below the fold. By default, the button appears in the top right corner once you scroll slightly down on a webpage. The button doesn’t distracts at all as it’s transparent and you can adjust its size easily. Just click it and instantly move back to top. It’s great for viewing long pages such as Facebook, Twitter, Forums, etc.

The extension also offers several customization options that lets you set its working and placement as per your requirement. You can set the scroll to top speed, scroll distance for button to appear and the button size, position and its design. It includes 4 button mode: Scroll to top only, flip between top/bottom, dual arrows and keyboard only.

There is also an option to set a keyboard shortcut or use the Home/End button to scroll to top and bottom using just your keyboard.

Until now, I had been using the Plus One Anything extension on Google Chrome to +1 a webpage while for Firefox, I shared the Plus One Button add-on that does the same task. Timothy Jordan just announced on Google+ that their team has build up a Chrome extension that provides the ability to +1 any page you visit on the web! +1 button is shorthand for "this is pretty cool" or "you should check this out."

Google +1 Button extension for Chrome works much better than the unofficial ones. It is fast, accurate, and shows the +1 counts for a certain webpage. This comes handy in case when you wish to +1 a web page but the site hasn’t installed the +1 button yet. You can +1 a page and Undo +1 using its button in Chrome bar from top-right side. One can opt to show +1′s to friends, and others to share the best stuff added by them.

Unfortunately, the extension doesn’t yet has the ability to Share on Google+, but they will automatically update it over time. Install it now and wait for other new features.

The +1’s made appears in the +1’s tab on your Google+ profile. You can choose to show the +1s tab on your profile or disable it to prevent from being seen publicly.

Google Chrome has certainly became widely popular in a short span and is giving a stiff competition to other Internet browsers just because of its minimal design, faster and safer browsing experience, and comes loaded with a variety of innovative features.

Chrome has the functionality to display PDFs integrated into webpages using the built-in PDF reader plugin. But some of you might not be aware that Google Chrome also offers the ability to open and view any PDF documents, residing in your local directory or computer. You no more need to use dedicated softwares like Adobe PDF Reader, Foxit Reader, etc. just to view the PDF files because Chrome does this job very well.

With Chrome one can read PDF documents without any distraction as there is no extra sidebar or menu bar to customize the PDF. However, there are options to view PDF in full-size, Zoom In and Out, Save or Print PDF. Luckily, the options panel shows up only when you hover the cursor at the bottom right corner of the webpage. Moreover, you can also view Password-protected PDFs with Chrome. Just try it out! You might then want to set Google Chrome as default PDF viewer to open your PDF files.

To make Chrome the default PDF reader, right-click on any PDF file and select ‘Open with’. Choose Google Chrome as the default program and hit Ok. (Browse to the directory C:\Users\Mayur\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application and select Chrome.exe). Listed location is for Windows 7, directory may differ in Windows XP.

Tip: If you want to open specific PDF files with Chrome, then just drag the file to the Google Chrome icon on your desktop.
