			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We stumbled upon an interesting <a href="http://webtrickz.com/tag/infographic">infographic</a> and couldn’t stop us from sharing it with our readers. <strong>Credit Card</strong> or CC is an essential and prominent financial product these days, usually owned by a majority of users to buy goods and services. If you’re a Credit Card or Debit Card holder, then you must have noticed the <em>16-digit numeric code</em> inscribed on the card. But as most of you might wonder, those 16 numbers aren’t given randomly but serves an important purpose. According to an amazing algorithm by Mint.com, one can simply <strong>crack the credit card code</strong> and determine if the card number is invalid or fake. Sounds weird? Just try it on your CC and make sure to do the math right!</p>
<p><span id="more-11380"></span>
<p><strong>How to Validate a Credit Card with your Mind -</strong></p>
<p><a href="http://www.mint.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/CrackingCreditCode11.jpg" target="_blank"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="Cracking Credit Card Code" border="0" alt="Cracking Credit Card Code" src="http://cdn.webtrickz.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/CrackingCreditCode.jpg" width="500" height="1423" /></a></p>
<p>We tried this trick on a valid Credit Card and a Debit Card as well (both Visa), and surprisingly the result turned out true as the final sum was divisible by 10. Do try this out and remember to follow the described steps carefully. <img src='http://cdn.webtrickz.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The camera shutter click sound integrated by default on <a href="http://webtrickz.com/tag/android">Android</a> is the most annoying and loud sound produced when taking a picture. Unfortunately, there is no way to mute the creepy camera sound on an unrooted Android device unless you switch it to silent mode, literally to take some photos. However, if you’ve a Rooted device <em>or</em> are using Cyanogen Mod (<strong>CM</strong>) custom ROM on your Android phone, then you can completely disable the camera click easily and take shots silently without disturbing your mates.</p>
<p><span id="more-11358"></span></p>
<p>This is a pretty simple method that just <strong>requires rooting</strong> and not any complex tasks. It should work on most Android phones (rooted) and those running CM7. We’ve tried it on LG Optimus One with<em> void</em> #<em>forever </em>custom ROM installed and it worked perfectly.</p>
<p><strong>Steps to Turn Off/Mute CyanogenMod Camera Sound on Android Phone -</strong></p>
<p>1. Install <a href="https://market.android.com/details?id=com.estrongs.android.pop&amp;hl=en" target="_blank">ES File Explorer</a> on your phone.</p>
<p>2. Run ES File Explorer, go to its Settings &gt; Home Directory. Change the default value (/sdcard/) to (/).</p>
<p>3. Then navigate to bottom of settings and enable ‘Root Explorer’ option. Click <em>Yes</em> when the <em>Experimental Feature</em> box pops-up to grant it super user permissions. Also, tick mark the ‘<strong>Mount File System</strong>’ check box to mount the system as writable.</p>
<p><img style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="ES File Explorer_settings" src="http://cdn.webtrickz.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/snap20111220_181147.jpg" alt="ES File Explorer_settings" width="320" height="480" border="0" /></p>
<p>4. Next, open the <strong>Local</strong> directory in ES File Explorer. Navigate to:</p>
<pre>"/system/media/audio/ui/camera_click.ogg"</pre>
<p><img style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="ES File Explorer_local" src="http://cdn.webtrickz.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/snap20111220_174931.jpg" alt="ES File Explorer_local" width="320" height="480" border="0" /></p>
<p>5. Tap on the camera_click.ogg file and rename it to <em>camera_click.mp3</em>.</p>
<p>That’s it. Open the camera and take a snap.<em><strong> Voila!</strong></em> No more shutter sound. <img src='http://cdn.webtrickz.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p><em><strong>Tip:</strong></em> If you’re using CM 7.1.0, then you can now quickly disable camera shutter sound from settings: Settings &gt; CyanogenMod settings &gt; Sound &gt; Mute camera shutter.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Just a day back, Google <a href="http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2011/11/next-stage-in-our-redesign.html" target="_blank">introduced</a> another cool change to its design by redesigning the substantially used Google bar. The new <a href="http://webtrickz.com/tag/google">Google</a> bar replaces the horizontal black bar at the top of the page, allowing you to navigate quickly between Google services, as well as offers the ability to check your Google+ notifications and quickly share stuff with desired people on <a href="http://webtrickz.com/tag/google-plus">Google Plus</a>. The latest new Google bar is not launched publicly yet but has been rolled out randomly for some users at the moment. </p>
<p><span id="more-11246"></span>
<p><a href="http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5781813/google-bar.jpg" target="_blank"><img style="border-right-width: 0px; display: inline; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px" title="new google bar" border="0" alt="new google bar" src="http://cdn.webtrickz.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/011220111249561.jpg" width="551" height="200" /></a></p>
<p>Fortunately, a Google+ user ‘<a href="https://plus.google.com/117843617175570491498" target="_blank">Maximilian Majewski</a>’ has discovered a 100% working hack to enable the new Google bar right now. The hack can easily be applied on Google Chrome browser to edit a certain value and thus access the awesome new Google menu bar. Switching to the <strong>New Google bar</strong> is real easy, just follow the steps below:</p>
<p><b>1.</b> Install the <a href="https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/fngmhnnpilhplaeedifhccceomclgfbg" target="_blank">‘Edit This Cookie</a>’ extension to change cookies on Chrome.</p>
<p><b>2.</b> Load Google.com, right-click on webpage and select ‘Edit cookies’. </p>
<p><b>3.</b> Move to the &quot;PREF&quot; section and change its value to this:<em> (</em><a href="http://pastebin.com/qRrZpV5R" target="_blank"><em>exact code</em></a><em>)</em></p>
<p><em>ID=03fd476a699d6487:U=88e8716486ff1e5d:FF=0:LD=en:CR=2:TM=1322688084:      <br />LM=1322688085:S=McEsyvcXKMiVfGds</em></p>
<p><img style="border-right-width: 0px; display: inline; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px" title="edit cookies_PREF" border="0" alt="edit cookies_PREF" src="http://cdn.webtrickz.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/01122011131355.gif" width="392" height="474" /></p>
<p><em></em></p>
<p><em></em></p>
</p>
<p> <b>4.</b> Click on ‘Submit cookie changes’ at the bottom.
</p>
<p><b>5.</b> Reload Google and you have the new Google bar.</p>
<p>You will now find links to the most accessed services in a new drop-down Google menu nested under the Google logo. You can access additional services by hovering over the “More” link at the bottom of the list. Just click on your choice and you’re over to it!</p>
<p>Hope you liked this trick. Don’t forget to share it with your friends. <img src='http://cdn.webtrickz.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Few months back, Gmail <a href="http://gmailblog.blogspot.com/2011/07/new-pick-your-favorite-inbox-style.html" target="_blank">introduced</a> several new inbox styles with the purpose to let users manage their email in the best preferred way. The new inbox style tab has now been turned on for almost everyone, and is also available on the new Gmail look. This new style adds 5 different Inbox tabs at the top of your inbox. Indicated as &#8211; “Try on a new inbox: Classic, Important first, Unread first, Starred first, Priority Inbox”.</p>
<p><span id="more-11156"></span>
<p>If you’ve already saw this new inbox style then you must have noticed that the ‘Inbox-style tabs toolbar’ disappears from your <a href="http://webtrickz.com/tag/gmail">Gmail</a> interface after a while. Well that’s not a magic but smarty Gmail that removes those tabs bar, after watching you settled on a particular favorite style for about a week. However, one can easily change the inbox style from the drop-down menu next to the Inbox label or from Settings (Inbox).</p>
<p><img style="border-right-width: 0px; display: inline; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px" title="gmail_inbox-style-tabs" border="0" alt="gmail_inbox-style-tabs" src="http://cdn.webtrickz.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/15112011235646.jpg" width="550" height="146" /></p>
<p>Fortunately, there is a way to easily restore the<em> Inbox tabs toolbar</em> in Gmail if it has vanished automatically or you closed it using the cross(x) button. To get it back, just hover your cursor over the Inbox tab in left sidebar and click on the drop down menu. Then point at <strong>Inbox Type</strong> and click the <strong>‘Try the tabs again’</strong> option. That’s it.</p>
<p><img style="border-right-width: 0px; display: inline; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px" title="gmail-inbox-type" border="0" alt="gmail-inbox-type" src="http://cdn.webtrickz.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/15112011210212.jpg" width="550" height="292" /></p>
<p><strong><em>Note:</em></strong> Apparently, Gmail has one stupid limitation which prevents you from getting the inbox-style tab bar again. What happens is, if you close the tabs bar twice then Gmail assumes that you don’t need it. Hence, on closing the inbox tabs bar for second time, the <em>Try the tabs again</em> option wont appear anymore and you cant get it.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://webtrickz.com/tag/android">Android</a> offers quite many options to easily tweak the look and interface of your device layout using wallpapers, widgets, launchers, etc. Now if you own an Android phone, then you might want to trick your non-techie friends into thinking that you’re using an <a href="http://webtrickz.com/tag/iphone">iPhone</a>. This can be simply done by installing a small app which transforms your Android phone entirely to the look of iPhone 4/4S home screen.</p>

<p><strong>Fake iPhone 4S</strong> is a free and interesting app for Android that makes this task possible in just a single click. The app is a full-screen working replica of the <a href="http://webtrickz.com/tag/iphone-4">iPhone 4</a> home screen which even replaces your phone&#8217;s status bar, thus removing the main visible signs of Android. It displays a high quality functional iOS screen with all the default app icons, most of which open up the relevant Android app when clicked. If there&#8217;s no suitable app, a sponsored message appears instead to support its development.</p>
<p><img style="border-right-width: 0px; display: inline; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px" title="iOS-screen_android" border="0" alt="iOS-screen_android" src="http://cdn.webtrickz.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/snap20111113_224515.png.jpg" width="320" height="480" /></p>
<p><img style="border-right-width: 0px; display: inline; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px" title="fake iphone 4s" border="0" alt="fake iphone 4s" src="http://cdn.webtrickz.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/snap20111113_225052.png.jpg" width="320" height="480" /></p>
<p>You can flip between 2-3 screens and the actual carrier name &amp; time appears in status bar which makes it appear like real iOS. It also allows you to access the notifications by swiping down without leaving the app. To use it, just tap the iPhone app icon anytime and the iOS home screen will appear.<em> Tip </em>– Use this app in dark so that your Android phone is not clearly visible, to make anyone believe that you’re using an iPhone. <img src='http://cdn.webtrickz.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>The developer is working hard to improve this app and aims to introduce new features frequently to make it more amazing. Just give it a try, you will surely like it!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://webtrickz.com/tag/google-plus">Google Plus</a> has improved a lot and has introduced variety of great features in a short while. Recently, they added the option to <a href="http://webtrickz.com/google-now-lets-you-download-photos-in-high-resolution/">Download Photos in full resolution</a> and Google has now <a href="https://plus.google.com/117690673854187012438/posts/DniWqH4sDE4" target="_blank">added</a> another nice and much requested feature. Google+ now provides the ability to “Disable comments and Lock a post” <strong>before sharing</strong> to the Google+ stream. Though, both the options were available earlier too but it was only possible after making a post. Now you can make use of these option <i>before</i> you share, and after too.</p>
<p><span id="more-10931"></span>
<p>The ‘Disable Comments’ prevents everyone from making a comment on a specific post and the ‘Lock this post’ restricts everyone from re-sharing your post with others.</p>
<p><img style="border-right-width: 0px; display: inline; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px" title="disable-comments-lock-post_google-plus" border="0" alt="disable-comments-lock-post_google-plus" src="http://cdn.webtrickz.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/07102011180824.jpg" width="500" height="536" /></p>
<blockquote><p>When you disable comments on a post, other people will no longer be able to leave comments (but they can still +1 and reshare it).</p>
<p>When you lock a post, people you&#8217;ve shared your post with will no long be able to reshare it with others or mention people you haven&#8217;t shared it with.</p>
</blockquote>
<p>To implement these options before posting an entry to Google+ stream, just tap the grey down arrow button as shown in above image. Then choose the preferred options.</p>
</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Apparently, <a href="http://webtrickz.com/tag/facebook">Facebook</a> has introduced a lot of new features lately of which some are really impressive and useful. While navigating through Facebook, I just noticed a new option “<strong>Unfollow Post</strong>” that lets you <em>Stop receiving notifications</em> for a particular post when someone makes a comment on it. Certainly, this is a nifty addition and would be used by a lot of people who participate in a certain post and then receive a bloat of notifications related to it. Now you can just unfollow any post made by you or someone else and get rid from the frequent notification pop-ups.</p>
<p><span id="more-10924"></span><strong>Note</strong>: The ‘Unfollow Post’ option only appears on Facebook when you post a comment on a post. Also, it seems that the option can be seen only if the person at whose post you’ve commented, is friends with you or you’ve subscribed to his/her updates.
</p>
<p><img style="border-right-width: 0px; display: inline; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px" title="unfollow-post_facebook" border="0" alt="unfollow-post_facebook" src="http://cdn.webtrickz.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/07102011164632.png" width="535" height="197" /></p>
<p>You can easily ‘unfollow post’ to stop getting notified when someone comments or select ‘Follow Post’ option to get notified again.</p>
<p><img style="border-right-width: 0px; display: inline; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px" title="follow-post_facebook" border="0" alt="follow-post_facebook" src="http://cdn.webtrickz.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/07102011164719.png" width="450" height="236" /></p>
<p>I hope Facebook adds it for everyone, regardless if someone is your friend or not.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Certainly, <a href="http://webtrickz.com/tag/qr-code">QR code</a> have become substantially popular with the introduction of Android phones. Using a QRCode, one can easily open any link or app URL on supported mobile phones just by scanning a specific QR code using the camera and QR code reader app.</p>
<blockquote><p><span id="more-10831"></span>
<div class="textwidget">A <strong>QR Code</strong> is a matrix barcode (or two-dimensional code), readable by QR scanners, mobile phones with a camera, and smartphones. The code consists of black modules arranged in a square pattern on white background. The information encoded can be text, URL or other data.</div>
</blockquote>
<div class="textwidget">With the growing user base of <a href="http://webtrickz.com/tag/android">Android</a> smartphones, the application of QR code has apparently increased a lot. Here is a nice tip for all webmasters and site owners, specially beneficial for sites targeting users looking for mobile phone related stuff.</div>
<div class="textwidget">&#160;</div>
<div class="textwidget">You can consider adding a <strong>Dynamic QR Code</strong> to your site pages which includes all your articles. This can be simply done by adding a short code to the preferred location on your site. After adding the script, a dynamic QR code gets generated for each post. Whenever users scans the code from their mobile, that particular webpage will open up.</div>
<div class="textwidget">&#160;</div>
<div class="textwidget"><img style="border-right-width: 0px; display: inline; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px" title="qrcode_android" border="0" alt="qrcode_android" src="http://cdn.webtrickz.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/snap20110924_110811.png" width="480" height="320" /></div>
<div class="textwidget">&#160;</div>
<div class="textwidget"><strong><em>To embed the script for QR Code</em></strong>, just copy the below code and paste it any where in your website. That’s all. To change the image size just modify the “<em>size=150×150</em>” to what ever <strong>equal</strong> value you want.</div>
<div class="textwidget">&#160;</div>
<blockquote><p><code>&lt;script type=</code><code>&quot;text/javascript&quot;</code><code>&gt;</code></p>
<p><code></code><code>var</code> <code>uri=window.location.href;</code></p>
<p><code>document.write(</code><code>&quot;&lt;img src='http://api.qrserver.com/v1/create-qr-code/?data=&quot;</code><code>+encodeURI(uri)+</code><code>&quot;&amp;size=150x150'/&gt;&quot;</code><code>);</code></p>
<p><code>&lt;/script&gt;</code></p>
</blockquote>
<div class="textwidget">You can also create a table and add a short description on how to use the QR code, making it easier for users. Just check the demo right away in our blog sidebar. <img src='http://cdn.webtrickz.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </div>
<div class="textwidget">&#160;</div>
<div class="textwidget">Thanks <a href="http://classictutorials.com/2010/11/dynamic-qr-code-for-each-blog-post/" target="_blank"><em>ClassicTutorials</em></a> for this amazing tip!</div>
