I’ve found a 100% working tool to Remove Watermark from Windows 7 RC Build 7100. The watermark is sometimes irritating specially on dark backgrounds.

Universal Desktop Watermark remover for Windows 7, Windows Vista, Server 2008, 32Bit & 64Bit – is the most easiest and effective method to remove watermarks from Windows.

How To Remove Watermark from Windows:

1. Download and extract the archive.

2. Open folder, Right click WatermarkRemover.exe and select Run as administrator.

3. Now you’ll see a window as shown below, click Y to continue.

4. Wait till all the tasks are performed automatically. Reboot when completed !

5. That’s it. Now the watermark will be gone aka removed

Windows 7 has came out with lots of new and exiting features. You may have noticed that, we can’t open My Computer directly from Windows 7 Taskbar aka Superbar.

If we drag N drop My computer to taskbar, it gets pinned to windows explorer rather than creating a new place for itself. Windows explorer opens libraries which irritates me and quite a lot of users. So, I’ve found a simple trick to pin My Computer to Windows 7 taskbar. Below procedure also works with Windows 8 Developer Preview.

Follow the simple steps below to Pin My Computer to Taskbar - 

1) Right click on Desktop, and select New > Shortcut.

2) In location of the item enter the following string exactly as given below:

%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /E,::{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}

3) Give a name to shortcut. For example, My Computer

4) Now you’ll see a new shortcut of ‘My Computer’ placed on desktop. It has the same icon like that of Windows explorer. You can change its icon if you wish.

5) To pin the shortcut to Windows 7 Taskbar, just right click on it and select “Pin to Taskbar”.

6) Enjoy! Your direct shortcut to My computer is pinned on taskbar now.

Windows 7 and Vista has a hidden but useful feature, which I think most of you are not aware off. This cool feature provides the ability to tick and choose particular files and folders only. This can be done using checkbox, like you have seen in Gmail.

These check boxes are only visible, when one hovers the mouse click over an item. You’ll just need to select the checkbox shown before a file or folder to select those elements.

This is really useful for newbie who don’t know the trick of keeping the ‘Ctrl’ key pressed and select the required components using the mouse. It’s also helpful as the checkbox selected don’t get vanished unlike in Ctrl trick.

To enable the check boxes feature, just go Organize >Folder and Search options >View tab. Then check the option “Use check boxes to select items” and select OK.

That’s it. You’ll now see check boxes in front of files, folders and drives. Now you can cut, copy or delete a no. of selected items at the same time.

Windows 7 already comes with some cool wallpapers and themes. But If you want to use 3rd party themes on Windows 7, then you’ll require to patch some files. This is because Windows restricts the use of third party themes and styles.

Uxtheme patcher does a great task by patching and allowing us to use more themes. The latest version of Uxtheme patcher is available for Windows 7 RC which has patched files as: uxtheme.dll, themeservice.dll, themeui.dll.

Since the release of Windows 7, I’ve been a big fan of its awesome collection of wallpapers. I installed Windows 7 RC yesterday, but I was surprised to see only some wallpapers in it.

This is because Windows installs all, but enables only those wallpapers and themes which belong to the region or country chosen by us. Certainly, I’ve found out a way to use all those wallpapers and themes which we can’t see under Personalization as they does not belong to our region.

A total of 42 High-resolution wallpaper’s can be found inside Windows 7. Don’t worry, you don’t need to download them. They’re hidden inside Windows 7 only.

Follow the simple steps below to find the cool collection for you:

1) Go to Organize >Folder and search options >View tab. Select show hidden files… Also uncheck the option “Hide protected operating system files”.

2) Now open  C:\ Windows\ Globalization\ MCT. Here you’ll find a collection of folders.

These are the official wallpapers and themes hidden inside Windows 7 directory. They include all regions namely: Australia, Canada, UK,US and South Africa.

3) After opening these folders you’ll find some more folders inside them. These folders contains themes and wallpapers. See the example below:

All the wallpapers included are high-resolution.ie. of 1920×1200 sizes.

4) They also contain the related themes which you can use. Just double-click the theme and it will be added to Personalization under control panel.

If you want to locate the path of wallpapers that are included by default in Windows 7. Then, just go to C:\Windows\Web\Wallpaper and you will see all the wallpapers there.

Note: I have found these collection in recently released Windows 7 RC (32-bit).

The Release candidate (RC) of Windows 7 is finally released and available for download to anyone. This is the last test version of Windows 7 before the final Windows 7 RTM, which is expected to be released at the end of October, 2009.

The RC will be available at least through July 2009 and this time they’re not limiting the number of product keys, so you have plenty of time. The RC will expire on June 1, 2010.
