Xiaomi Mi 3 launched in India, exclusively available at Flipkart for Rs. 13,999

Xiaomi, the popular Chinese smartphone manufacturer, also deemed as the ‘Apple of China’ has officially launched their operations in India. At an event in New Delhi today, Xiaomi launched its much awaited flagship smartphone ‘the Mi 3‘ at a highly affordable price of Rs. 13,999. The device will be exclusively available in India through online retailer Flipkart, and will go on sale starting 22nd July. Interested users can visit the registration page at Flipkart to book the same.

Mi 3 is a high-end budget Android phone and a tough competitor to mid and high-segment phones including the likes of Moto G, Moto X, Nexus 5, Gionee Elife E7, etc. [Comparison] and phones from Tier 3 brands in India. Mi 3 features a premium design, good build quality and its hardware specifications matches up to the offerings of top smartphones between 25k-30k range. The aggressive pricing of Mi 3 along with proper customer support, will surely make Mi3 bang for the buck and a strong contender in Indian market.

The Mi 3 is powered by a 2.3Ghz Quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, packs a 5-inch Full HD IPS display with a 1920×1080 resolution at 441ppi, Adreno 330 GPU, and 2 GB RAM. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat optimized with MIUI version 5 custom UI. The phone comes with a 13MP camera with dual-LED flash, 2MP front-facing camera, 16GB of internal storage, and a 3050 mAh non-removable battery. Connectivity options include: HSPA+(42Mbps), NFC, GPS + GLONASS, AGPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Dual-band Wi-Fi, and support for Mini SIM card (SIM adapter provided for Micro/Nano SIM card users).

Mi 3 comes in Silver and Black color. Xiaomi has set up 36 service centers in India to begin with and 2 exclusive Mi service centers have been introduced too.

Xiaomi has also announced the Redmi 1S and Redmi Note, priced at Rs. 6,999 and Rs. 9,999 respectively. Both the devices will be coming soon to India along with the Mi Pad and other interesting products from Xiaomi. Stay tuned for more info.

I have tried three times to buy this phone but always too late, as I find it is always out of market !!

I wonder in today’s market how they can stay out of stock ?? Even when selling from only one point..

Really surprising !!!
