We’ve covered two great and free tools from Freemake.com in past – Freemake Video Converter and Freemake Video Downloader. Now here’s another nifty and useful program ‘Freemake Audio Converter’, letting users extract music from videos as audio files with great ease and simplicity. Besides offering an audio extraction feature, the tool also has the option to join audio files together into a single audio track. This way you can easily create a medley or merge a bunch of favorite tracks into a preferred audio format.
Freemake Audio Converter for Windows is very fast, 100% freeware, with no limitations, and requires no registration. It accepts over 200 video formats, and exports music from videos into MP3, WMA, WAV, FLAC, AAC, M4A, OGG. One can quickly rip audio from a video file and convert it to standard audio formats such as MP3 for portable media players, mobile phones, and M4A for Apple devices – iPod, iPhone, iPad. The tool offers batch conversion support, displays basic parameters of media files, lets you specify the output file quality, and can even add a custom preset. Prior to converting, enable ‘Export to iTunes’ to send MP3 and AAC files directly to iTunes.
The Join audio files feature works perfectly and seamlessly merges multiple audio files (even of different formats) into one. There is a button in the upper right corner to switch on the “Join files” option. The output file size and track length are also displayed.
