Easter Egg Hidden in Ice Cream Sandwich on Galaxy Nexus

The Galaxy Nexus is an amazing smartphone, pre-loaded with the newest version of Android ‘Ice Cream Sandwich’ that delivers a pure Google experience. The Android 4.0 ICS brings in a lot of new features, plus a revamped and stylish user interface. Continuing the trend, a cool Nyan Cat Android Easter Egg has been discovered in Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) on all Samsung Galaxy Nexus units.

The easter egg in ICS has been dubbed Nyandroid as it resembles much with the popular Nyan Cat. If you’ve got hands-on with Galaxy Nexus, then you can easily view the interesting easter egg. To do so, navigate to Settings > About Phone. Then tap repeatedly over the ‘Android version’ option, then just hold your finger over the Android nyan cat to see the animation in action. One cool thing is that all the droids are fitted with the logo of Ice Cream Sandwich and moves both in landscape & portrait mode.

The easter egg seems to be available in retail version of ICS, regardless of the region.
