Earlier this month, Gionee announced the Android KitKat 4.4.2 update for world’s slimmest smartphone, the Gionee ELife S5.5. Elife E7 Mini users will now be delighted to know that the latest Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) update is now released for their device.
The software update is available Over-The-Air (OTA) for Gionee E7 Mini, allowing users to download and install it with ease. This is a significant update that brings the all new KitKat version to enhance the overall user interface and user experience, including a host of interesting features.
The update will power up your Elife E7 mini with a new UI design with enhanced features like updated Amigo paper UI, wallpapers app, improved security, including updates for game zone, Xender, and several applications. To manually check for update, go to phone Settings > About phone > Software update.
Update – The 4.4.2 update for E7 mini will not be available OTA due to hardware restrictions, but users will be able to flash it by visiting any of the Gionee Service centers, free of cost. Technical users can also update their device software manually using flash tools.
