Android phones usually come skinned with the manufacturers custom user interface such as Samsung’s TouchWiz, HTC’s Sense, Sony’s Xperia UI, Asus Zen UI and so on. These custom UI generally comes with Quick Settings menu that is accessible from the notifications panel or by swiping down with 2-finger gesture. The Quick settings includes several toggles for quickly toggling off/on device settings like Wi-Fi, Mobile data, Rotation, Bluetooth, Brightness, etc.
Xiaomi phones running MIUI ROM also comes with quick settings, and long pressing an icon open its individual setting page. In MIUI 5, users can change the placement of toggles as per their usage and convenience. However, MIUI 6 (that’s currently available as a Developer ROM for Mi 3 and Mi 4) doesn’t offers the functionality to switch position for settings toggles.
Luckily, you don’t need to wait for the stable version of MIUI 6 to avail this nifty option. There is a handy app “MIUI 6 Toggles arrange” developed by a moderator ‘sta-s2z’ at MIUI forum. The app exactly replicates the quick settings menu on MIUI v6 using which you can arrange toggles as desired, simply just by drag ‘n’ drop in the app. The changes take effect instantly after pressing the “Save” button. The app neither requires root nor UI restart is needed.
