Today, Meizu has launched the “M3 Note” in India just after a month of its initial launch in China. This clearly indicates that Meizu is really serious about the Indian market and don’t want to miss out the timely launch of its mid-range smartphone. The M3 Note can also be considered as a tough competitor to Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 which has being doing well since its launch in India. Meizu India has been teasing about M3 Note launch on social media with #LongLastingBeauty hashtag and that’s for a reason. The phone comes packed with a huge 4100mAh battery and sports a beautiful design that somewhat reminds us of the iPhone 6. Without further ado, let’s talk about the technical specs of M3 Note:
The M3 Note is the first phone from Meizu’s ‘M Note’ lineup featuring a metal body despite being very affordable. Its metal unibody design is made up of 6000 Series Aluminum alloy combined with a 2.5D front panel that makes it look elegant and a charm to hold. The device sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display at 403ppi and is protected with Dinorex T2X-1 scratch resistant glass. The mTouch 2.1 fingerprint scanner integrated with the physical home button is placed on the front. M3 Note is powered by a 1.8GHz MediaTek Helio P10 Octa-core processor with Mali-T860 GPU and it runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with custom Flyme UI on top. The device comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM. The storage can be expanded upto 128GB via microSD card (uses 2nd SIM slot).
The phone packs a 13MP primary camera with PDAF auto-focus, two-tone flash, f/2.2 aperture and there is a 5MP camera on the front for selfies. Connectivity options include: 4G/LTE with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and A-GPS. Comes with a majority of sensors namely: Hall magnetic sensor, Gravity sensor, IR proximity sensor, Gyroscope, Ambient light sensor, Touch sensor, and Digital compass.
Under the hood, the M3 Note packs a 4100mAh high capacity non-removable battery and still manages to remain pretty lightweight at 163g and 8.2mm thick. The device houses a Hybrid dual-SIM tray that either accepts dual nano-SIM cards or one nano SIM combined with a microSD card. Comes in 3 gorgeous color options: Gray, White, and Gold.
