HDFC Bank has finally released their much awaited mobile banking application for Android. iOS users were lucky enough as the HDFC Bank App for iPhone was introduced back in April this year. Anyways, Better late than never – Android users can rejoice now!
HDFC Bank MobileBanking, the official app of HDFC Bank for Android gives access to most of net banking services directly on your Android phone. Now, you can perform your banking tasks right on your smartphone or tablet, anywhere and at anytime! This full featured app boasts an awesome user interface and works really well. It offers access to a variety of banking services like: Account details, Third party transfer, Bill payment, Credit Card, Demat account, Debit Card, and much more. You can quickly navigate through all the services from the menu or tabs at the bottom.
With HDFC Bank Mobile Banking App for Android, one can easily:
Pay utility bills, credit card bills, etc.
View Account summaries, Fixed Deposits and Recurring Deposits summaries.
Request statements, cheque book, view check status, stop payment
Transfer funds – Third party funds transfer, NEFT fund transfer, View RTGS funds transfer, and view list of beneficiaries.
Credit Card – Check account summary, account information, make CC payments, and view unbilled transactions.
Demat account – Check list of account and holdings query.
Debit Card – Check debit card status, instantly holist/block a card in case its lost.

To get started, download the app and simply enter your customer ID and IPIN.
HDFC Bank Android app is really nice but it lacks some of the options as those seen in its iOS version, such as option to manage Insta Alerts, view contact details, change password and a couple of other options missing under Transfer funds and Credit Card.
