PowerArchiver Free is the latest version of the award winning compression utility. PowerArchiver 2010 Free is a free and powerful alternative to paid archive software like WinRAR and WinZip that cost $30. It was previously available in two versions: Standard and Professional which are both paid, but now a Free version is available too.

PowerArchiver Free is freeware version of PowerArchiver (Free for personal use). All of the core functions are still there and you can create and extract every archive as in full PowerArchiver, and quite few other things are there too:

    Nice info. Thanks. But my choice is 7-zip (7-zip.org) and http://archiver.kmx.ru/ (web-based utility to create, uncompress, convert archives online. RUS/ENG)
