Today, Samsung has introduced two new additions to its popular mid-range Galaxy J series, the Galaxy J7 Max and Galaxy J7 Pro. These are the first smartphones in the mid-range segment to feature Samsung Pay and the new Social Camera. Both the phones sport a metal unibody design and pack features such as Ultra Data Saving, S bike mode and S Power Planning. The social camera allows users to instantly edit and share their pictures on social media like Facebook and WhatsApp. Unlike the J7 Pro, the J7 Max features a Smart Glow 2.0 notification LED at the back. The J7 Pro and J7 Max run on Android 7.0, pack same cameras, and come with a fingerprint sensor integrated into the home button. Below you can find the specifications comparison between the duo:

Though the J7 Pro comes with full-fledged Samsung Pay, the J7 Max comes with Samsung Pay Mini instead. Samsung Pay Mini doesn’t support NFC or MST payments but allows for UPI and Mobile Wallet payments. Samsung Pay Mini will also be made available on select existing J series devices soon.
Pricing & Availability – The Galaxy J7 Max and Galaxy J7 Pro are priced at Rs. 17,900 and Rs. 20,900, respectively. The J7 Max will be available across retail stores starting June 20th whereas the J7 Pro will hit the stores starting mid-July.
