Google Chrome browser version 2.0 has today moved from Beta to the Stable channel. The stable version of Chrome has now been updated to 2.0.172.28. This release comes with Increased Speed and Stability along with the addition of the most-requested features.
Major Improvements in Chrome 2.0.172.28:
1) Improved New Tab Page: This updated version provides you the ability to remove thumbnails from the New Tab page. You can also restore the removed thumbnails.
2) Full-Screen Mode: Now you can hide the title bar and the rest of the browser window by hitting F11 or selecting the option in the Tools menu. This is a really useful feature if you ever want to give a presentation or watch a large video using Google Chrome.
3) Form Autofill: Form autofill helps by showing the information you’ve previously entered into the same form fields automatically. If you want to clear out your information, that’s easy to do from the Tools menu.
4) New Languages Introduced: Also, Google Chrome is now available in 50 languages. They’ve added Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya (on Windows Vista only), Tamil, and Telugu in this release.
You’ll be automatically updated to this new version soon if you are using the Stable version of Chrome. You can also download Google Chrome.
