Twitter short URL’s share: Statistics
As you may know, the trend of URL Shortening services started with Twitter. These services are mostly used by twitter to embed website link into its tweets which are limited to 140 characters.
I’ve found a statistical graph that shows, which URL shortening services are how much popular on Twitter. The stats are based on data collected during a 24 hour period.
As seen above, bit.ly is the winner with a major share of 53.75%. That’s because bit.ly is the default service used by twitter to shorten its links. [via]
