What are Feeds ?? (RSS)

According to my knowledge, more than half of the people using Internet don’t know What are Feeds? If you are a person who crawls through a lot of websites or Blogs then you should must know about the Feeds.

The Firefox and Internet Explorer 7 Feed icon.Feeds are something that provides you with the updated content of every blog/website that supports it. It is a way to save time reading web sites and Blogs ,etc. Now you are not required to type in the URL and open the whole web site only to see what’s the updated material.

The 3 main types of Feeds are:    RSS , Atom , XML


How to use Feeds?


A "Feed Reader" is required for using Web Feeds. Feeds can be integrated in the Feed Readers where we can add multiple number of our favorite blogs or web sites.

Feed Readers such as:  Google Reader, MyYahoo, Bloglines, Netvibes, Newsgator, FeedDemon, etc. can be used to integrate the feeds.
