ZOPO Mobile launches Speed 7 in India for 12,999 INR

There seems to be no end to the number of phone makers arriving to India and most of them are the Chinese companies. One such new entrant is ZOPO which today unveiled a mid-range phone. Just so you know, ZOPO has partnered with Advance Computers Private Limited (ADCOM) to bring in the phones to India. ZOPO as a matter of fact is a well known brand in China and are popular for bringing in China’s first ever glasses-free 3D smart phone. While much of the manufacturing happens in China, they have dedicated design teams in US and Europe and have been selling in many different parts of the world including mid-east and US. Following the footsteps of companies like Xiaomi, OnePlus and Meizu, ZOPO too have their community forum where they interact with the prospects and users.

ZOPO has three main categories in which they release their many different models. Speed – this is their flagship range. Flash – centered around the style, look and feel rather than specs. Color – the pocket friendly phones, colorful and targeted towards the youth.

ZOPO today has unveiled the Speed 7 phone at an event in Delhi. Speed 7 comes with a 5″ 1080p IPC LCD display. Powering it is a MediaTek MT6753 1.5GHz Octa-Core 64-bit processor with Mali-T720 GPU and the phone runs on Android 5.1 with Zopo Z-UI. Coming with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory that can be bumped upto 64GB this will be good options for potential buyers who are considering the phone. Other specs include a 2500mAh battery, Dual SIM, 4G, 3G, GPS/GLONASS and few sensors.

It also has a 13.2MP camera with LED flash in the back and a front 5MP shooter. Though the phone has 5″ screen it weighs a healthy 150gms and is 8.65mm thick. ZOPO is offering this Speed 7 in two basic colors : Black and White.

ZOPO has tied up with Snapdeal for exclusive sales of the phone and the phone is priced at Rs. 12,999. Some of the closest competitors around this price would be the Zenfone 2 range of phones, the Moto G (2015), the Xiaomi Mi4i, Meizu M2 Note and likes. The company has planned to offer promising after sales service through 200 service centers across the country in cooperation with ADCOM.
