How to Enable/Turn On Backlit Keyboard on Dell Laptops

    It actually depends on your Dell notebook model. On my Dell Studio 15, I need to use Fn + F6 keys to enable backlit.

    I have a inspiron 5000 a 5558.
    keybord lithing goes out after 10 sec.
    how do I ajust it to keep it light all the time ?

    ALT + function + F6 worked for me, function and F6 alone wouldn\’t work for some reason until i added the ALT, however since doing it this way it will now turn off and on with just Fn+F6
