If your Instagram Saved section is filled with saved posts, reels, and videos you’ve bookmarked over time, you may want to clear them all. Whether you can do that depends on the device you’re using.
On iPhone, Instagram lets you select and unsave all saved items at once. On Android, you can unsave multiple posts and reels at the same time, but there isn’t a Select All option.
This guide explains how to remove saved Instagram posts and reels on iPhone, Android, and desktop, and how to delete saved collections.
Can I delete all saved posts and reels on Instagram?
Yes, but it depends on the device you’re using.
| Device | Delete all saved posts and reels at once |
|---|---|
| iPhone | Yes |
| Android | No (you can only unsave multiple posts manually) |
| Desktop | Not natively. A third-party solution may be required. |
Here’s how to remove saved posts and reels on each platform.
Note: Unsaving a saved post or reel only removes it from your Saved section. It doesn’t delete the original post or reel from Instagram or notify the person who shared it.
How to unsave all saved posts and reels on Instagram at once
Note: Instagram stores saved posts, reels, photos, and videos together under the Saved section. The steps below work for removing all types of saved content.
On iPhone
- Open Instagram and tap the profile tab.
- Tap the Menu button at the top-right.
- On the Settings and activity screen, go to Saved.

- Under Saved, tap the All tab to view all your saved posts, reels, photos, and videos.
- To manage all your saved items, tap the Manage option next to Reels and posts.

- To unsave all Instagram posts and reels at once, tap Select all in the top-right corner. All your saved posts will be selected; you can uncheck the ones you want to keep.

- Tap the “Unsave” button at the bottom. Tap Unsave again to confirm.

That’s it. Unsaving a post or reel also removes it from any Saved collection it’s part of.
On Android
Android limitation: Unlike the iPhone app, Instagram for Android still doesn’t include a Select All option. You can select and unsave multiple items at once, but you’ll need to choose them manually.
Here’s how to unsave multiple saved posts and reels on Instagram for Android:
- Open Instagram and tap the profile tab at the bottom-right corner.
- Tap the Menu button at the top-right and go to Saved.

- Under Saved, tap the All tab to view all your saved items.
- Tap Manage next to Reels and posts.
- Tap the 3-dot button at the top-right and tap Select.
- Select all the posts and reels you want to unsave.
- Tap Unsave at the bottom, then tap Unsave again to confirm.

Note: You can unsave multiple posts and reels at once, but Instagram for Android still doesn’t let you select and remove everything in a single tap.
Tip: If you want to remove a large number of saved posts from a computer, the workaround below may be faster than selecting them manually on your phone.
On Computer
- Open Google Chrome and install the “Unsaver for Instagram” extension.
- Visit instagram.com and log in to your account if you aren’t already.
- Click the puzzle icon in the top-right and open “Unsaver for Instagram”.

- Under Your collections, select All posts.

- Click Select All and hit Unsave to automatically remove all your saved posts and reels.

Note that you won’t get a confirmation pop-up while unsaving, so proceed with caution.
How to delete saved collections on Instagram
On iPhone
- Tap the profile tab, open the Menu tab, and select Saved.
- Under Saved, tap the Collections tab.
- Select the collection you want to delete.
- Tap the 3-dots in the top-right.

- Select Delete Collection, then tap Delete again to confirm.
On Android
- Open the profile tab, tap the Menu button, and open Saved.
- Under Saved, select the Collections tab.
- Open the collection you want to delete.

- Tap the 3-dots at the top-right and select Edit Collection.
- Under Manage, tap Delete Collection.

- Tap Delete again to confirm.
On Computer
- Visit instagram.com in a browser on your computer and log in to your Instagram account.
- Click More (three lines) in the left sidebar and select Saved.
- In the Saved section, open the collection you want to remove.
- Click the 3-dot menu in the top-right.

- Select Delete collection, then click Delete again to remove it.

Note: Deleting a collection doesn’t unsave the posts inside it. They remain available under the All tab until you unsave them manually.
Can I delete all saved reels on Instagram at once?
Yes, but only on iPhone. Instagram stores saved reels together with your other saved items, so you can use Select All to unsave them at once on iPhone. On Android, you’ll need to select them manually because there isn’t a Select All option.
Does unsaving saved posts or reels delete them from Instagram?
No. Unsaving a post or reel only removes it from your Saved section. The original content remains on Instagram, and the person who shared it won’t be notified.
