How to Reset Kaspersky 2009 Trial Period ?

in How To's, Tips 'n' Tricks

We all know that Kaspersky Antivirus and Internet Security provides best security to our computer from latest Virus, malware attacks, etc. The problem is that they are not Free and needs to be purchased for use.

Previously, I have covered various posts on “How to get free Genuine keys for Kaspersky” but the offer seems to end now on various sites. If you are unable to get the free key from anywhere, then you can use the trial version of Kaspersky which works fully-functional for a period of 30-days.

After 30-days kaspersky stops providing updates to its product and requires a genuine key to activate. However you can use the simple Kaspersky Trial Reset tool to get back the 30-days after the trial period ends. It works both for KIS and KAV.

Kaspersky Trial Reset

To use it:

1. Go to Kaspersky settings and under options, Disable Self-Defense

2. Now Exit Kaspersky and run the Trial Resetter.

3. Enable Kaspersky and click on Activate Trial version.

You will now get your 30-days back and you can use kaspersky without any problem.

>> Works for Windows XP 32 bit & Windows Vista 32 bit.

Update 1 - Link removed due to virus. Thanks kupa

Update 2 – How to use Kaspersky Free after end of 30 days trial period ?

The program managed it to re enable the Self-defense feature. It doesn’t matter if you uncheck the Self-defense feature and than click “apply” and “ok”

There is so much hype over Kapersky, with all the keys and stuff.Appreciate the workaround provided by you,bt i prefer the seemingly no-nonsense Avast from Allwil.IT works like a charm and its free too:D

quick trick: sometimes your system may crash or BSOD problem (due to kaspersky update using keys only)…so before updating ….make restore point..

well you can also download new keys for kaspersky 2009 from http://www.kavkiskey.com
if your key gets blacklisted.Everyday new keys are updates on this site, but dont forget to disable protection before opening this site,as kaspersky antivirus blocks this site coz it provides free keys.dont worry it’s a safe site to access,i have been using it for so long.

* Found on infected systems and resists interrogation by security products
* Uses rootkit techniques to conceal its presence, interrogation or removal

USES ROOTKIT TECHNIQUES!!! BEWARE!

this resetters really works but…:
* Analysis of the file resources indicate the following possible country of origin:

Germany

* The following port was open in the system:

Port Protocol Process
1033 TCP [file and pathname of the sample #1]

* The following Host Names were requested from a host database:
o 192.203.230.10
o wpad.mrc.pctools.com.
o trialresetter.webs.com

* The following GET request was made:
o wpad.dat

Resetting over and over again eventually make you tired of doing the same thing. You will need the original activation key because nobody is persistent enough to reset every month ;) .
