The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max don’t have a traditional power button. You can shut them down using the Side and Volume buttons, from Settings or Control Center, or simply ask Siri to turn off your iPhone.

If you’re new to the iPhone 18 Pro, here’s how to power it off using any of these methods.

Quick answerTo turn off an iPhone 18 Pro or 18 Pro Max, press and hold the Side button and either Volume button until the power-off slider appears. Drag the slider to the right.

The quickest way to shut down your iPhone 18 Pro or 18 Pro Max is by using its physical buttons.
