If you regularly shop on Amazon, you’ve likely noticed the “Save for later” option next to items in your cart. This handy feature allows you to move products from your shopping cart to a separate Saved for Later list. By doing so, you can buy them later without adding them to your wishlist.
However, finding your Saved for Later items on Amazon isn’t as straightforward as it should be, especially if you have a long list of saved products.
In this guide, we’ll show you exactly where to find your saved items on both the Amazon app and Amazon website, plus how to manage or clear them.
What Happens When You Save for Later on Amazon?
When you click Save for later on an item in your cart:
- The item is removed from your active shopping cart.
- It’s moved to a “Saved for later” list within the cart.
- You can still see the item’s updated price, availability, and basic details.
- You can move it back to the cart, delete it, or add it to a wishlist anytime.
Unlike wishlists, Saved for Later items aren’t searchable and don’t have a dedicated section under the “Account & Lists” menu.
How to See Your Saved for Later Items on Amazon
Follow these steps to view your saved items on the Amazon website:
- Visit amazon.com and log in to your account.
- Click on the Cart icon in the top-right corner.
- Scroll down the webpage and look for the Your Items section under the Shopping Cart list.
- Click the “Saved for later” tab to see your saved for later list on Amazon.
The saved list shows all the products you’ve saved.
Optionally, click the ‘Move to cart‘ button to add the item(s) back to your cart and proceed with checkout. You can also delete saved items or move them to an Amazon wishlist.
On the Amazon app
To find Saved for Later items on the Amazon app for iPhone and Android:
- Open the Amazon app and sign in to your account.
- Tap the “Cart” tab from the bottom row.
- Scroll down through your cart and look for the “Saved for later” section.
- Here you can see all your saved items. You can either delete, compare, or move them to your cart.
How Do I Clear My Saved for Later on Amazon?
Unfortunately, Amazon does not offer a way to clear all your Saved for Later items at once.
Since there is no bulk delete option, you have to manually delete each item by tapping the ‘Delete‘ button below it.
This process can be time-consuming if you have a large number of saved items.
